QB Aaron Rodgers Gets A Second Tattoo: A Dragon On The Bicep

Yesterday, the quarterback’s tattoo artist posted images on Instagram showing the tattoo and the process of getting it done on his left bicep. In reference to Aaron Rodgers’ Jets jersey number, the artwork features a dragon arranged in the shape of the number eight.

Rodgers’ new tattoo is seen on his left bicep, above the location of his previous sacred geometry forearm tattoo, in an image he posted on Instagram.

Since the dragon in the tattoo is shaped like the number 8, which is Aaron Rodgers’ Gang Green jersey number, it nearly seems like a tribute to the New York Jets.

“Second tattoo for the 🐐 himself @aaronrodgers12,” the artist said in a caption on the photos of the ink, “with a subtle hint for Aaron’s new jersey number #8.”

The 40-year-old signal caller commented on the artist’s website, expressing his obvious happiness with how everything turned out: “Happy Birthday, brother! I’m really appreciative of your skill.”

Although Rodgers had considered playing again for the Jets on Christmas Eve against the Washington Commanders, the erratic quarterback has abandoned his attention-grabbing antics and is dedicated to completing his rehabilitation.

The four-time NFL MVP arrived in late April to play for the Jets, where he was expected to win the Super Bowl. But after just four games this season, Rodgers tore his achilles. He has still yet to complete a regular season pass for the Jets
